REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:  please read before proceeding

 

Note:              Only the credit card processing page uses a secured web page.  The pages that collect information for your application do not use a secured server.  This is for performance reasons to accommodate  dial-up Internet users.  In Step 5, you will be presented with a secured connection to a web page that will process your credit card payment.

 

STEP 1:         (Optional) Review the DALMAC Privacy Use Policy. Click here to review the DALMAC's Privacy Use Policy which applies to the data collected in this DALMAC Application.

 

STEP 2:         Enter your Name, Birthdate and (optionally) the Rider#  located on the mailing label of the application.  Include the Rider# number only if the DALMAC application was mailed to your address. 

 

                        Make sure your Birthdate is correct.  You will not be able to change it later for security reasons.  You will need your birthdate to make changes to your application or to look up the application status.

 

We will use this information to attempt to lookup your personal profile information in our databases.  If your last name changed recently, use your older last name.  If you frequently use varying forms of your first name (e.g. Robert vs. Bob vs. Rob), try the variations if necessary.  If we locate your record we will pre-fill some of the fields in the application.  You may then make changes to the data in Step 3.

 

STEP 3:         Edit, Update Personal Data.  Verify or make changes to your personal information, as needed.  Upon completion of this step your mailing address will be verified with the US Postal Service site.  If it cannot be verified you will have to correct your address to conform to USPS standards.  This requirement will not apply to applicants outside of the U.S.  If you are having problems with entering a valid US Postal Service address, duplicate the address information as it appears on your “junk” mail.

 

                        Select your route and Optional Items.   Select your route and then select any clothing, camping at MSU, return bus transportation, and SAG support options.

 

                        Note for Private Support Vehicle non-rider registration:

                         

·        Each member of a private support vehicle group must complete their own DALMAC application and pay the same fees as a rider if breakfast and dinner support is desired.   They must also select the Vehicle Packet (including meals) check box.

 

·         Private support vehicle teams requiring only shower access, camping and SAG route maps (no meals) are registered for these services by one of the bike applicants.  The bike applicant, who registers for this support team, must purchase the “Vehicle Packet Only” option which includes the driver.  The applicant will need to include the “Number of Additional Private Support People Over Five Years” for all non-riders accompanying the vehicle driver. . 

 

STEP 4:         Review and Verify Your Route and Option Selections.  This page totals up your costs and gives you a chance to make changes or proceed to the credit card processing page. 

 

STEP 5:         Process Credit Card Payment.  Fill out your credit card information and check the box indicating that you have read and understand the Terms of Sale policy. 

 

                        Your credit card payment will be processed immediately.  If your credit card payment is rejected you may re-enter the credit card information.  However, if you fail to successfully complete this step your application information will not be saved.

 

STEP 6:         View and Print a Copy of invoice.  After successful processing of your credit card payment you can view and print a copy of your application summary and invoice.  This same information will be sent to the email address listed on your application and will contain a link that you can use if you need to make changes in your application. 

 

There is an Invoice Number at the top of the summary screen page.  You will need this number to make any on-line changes to your application.  You must also include this number with any correspondence to the DALMAC Registrar regarding your application.  Any future payments, by check, must also include this invoice number on the check.

 

Please retain a copy of the summary screen page and email version.
