Applicant is subject to the following rules:
The DALMAC committee reserves the right to reject future applications or remove the riders from the tour without refund for violations of the DALMAC rules.All participants will follow the DALMAC rules as posted in the application booklet. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Bridge Crossing:
The rider is subject to rules and regulations set forth by the Bridge Authority that govern all bridge crossings as well as crossing times.
Luggage:
Luggage limited to 2 bags per person with a weight limit of 40 lb. per bag.
Private Support Vehicles:
All private vehicles accompanying the tour MUST follow the alternative route between private sag meeting locations. Cyclists will be held responsible for the conduct of their private support vehicle and crew.
It is the Tri-County Bicycle Association policy and the DALMAC policy to respect the
individual’s right to privacy.
Information We Collect:
DALMAC collects information on it event participants
for the purpose of organizing the DALMAC bike tour.The information that is collected and stored electronically can be described as
(1) individual contact and profile data, (2) tour route and merchandise
purchases and (3) payment transactions including credit cards.Paper
documents, which might be retained for a period time, include liability
waivers, copies of event applications and parent/guardian release forms.
Why We Collect This
Information:
DALMAC collects information on its participants for the purpose of organizing the event.Managing name and address information is a challenge since individual names change, people use nick names and move to new addresses.By requiring the applicant’s birthdate to assist in the management of personal information so we can reduce our mailing costs.It also provides a mechanism for accurately determining whether the rider is a minor at the time of the ride and whether pre-teen discounts apply.
How DALMAC Information is
Stored:
DALMAC registration data is maintained on a secured database
server operated and managed by an Internet service provider.All
credit card information is encrypted while stored on this server. Credit card
information is transmitted to the credit card company over a secured link and
is retained on their data storage system for payment processing.
Address mailing information is extracted from this database and merged with the TCBA databases to conduct club promotional mailings such as applications forms.
What DALMAC Does with the
Information We Collect:
Some data may be made public.For example, only participants who have checked the box for sharing their names with local media will have that information shared.Also, the total number of DALMAC riders and the numbers for each DALMAC route will be published.A list of each route’s participants will be available at registration.
Reports will be printed from the database for participant rosters on each route, merchandise purchases, and other reports deemed necessary to the successful management of each DALMAC route.
Information about
individual ride participants is released to their local newspapers if the
rider/applicant has consented on the application form.In addition, other summary or statistical
information may be release to the public and to the news media about the DALMAC
event
Mailing address information is provided in electronic form to commercial printing companies and mailing companies that produce and/or mail materials and publications pertaining to DALMAC and TCBA activities.
